Breakout 3: Addressing Workforce Issues with a DEI Lens Across Healthcare

Mark will be presenting on how most organizations devote resources into developing strong DEI plans, but rarely examine potential obstacles of implementing with workforce shortages across the system. Participants will understand the foundation of DEI plans. Participants will identify internal and external challenges of the current workforce environment. Participants will discover solutions to meet these challenges.

Dr. Hawley will be highlighting Yakima Valley Farm Worker's recent training programs and how they are establishing ways to bring more behavioral health workers in by creating pathways for people and reducing barriers to licensure.
